The third Manufacturer’s Forum was traditionally organized by the OWC publishing house (OWC Verlag für Außenwirtschaft) in Frankfurt and gathered more than one hundred representatives of the key players at the manufacturing industry market, investors and developers in Russia and the other CIS countries.
The business program of the event focused on topical issues of production set up and development (processing industry, automotive, textile/fashion, pharma etc.) in Russia, contract manufacturing, political and legal aspects of the manufacturing development in the CIS counties.
Drees & Sommer presented the large scale and successful project examples of the processing and manufacturing, logistics and automotive sectors implemented and/or under construction in the territory of Russia.
Rino Woyczyk, responsible Partner for Drees & Sommer Russian entity and Gleb Stambrovsky, Senior Project Partner introduced the participants with the expert opinion and competences the company applies to support the clients in realization of their industrial projects. In particular, the aspects of production set up and supportive branch services our colleagues discussed with the Forum participants at numerous B2B-meetings held in between the report sessions.
The topical issues of the sectors were as well discussed by the audience at the parallel workshops of the second half of the event. Mr. Woyczyk participated as an expert in the workshop “Opportunities for the German pharmaceutical industry in Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan” which was held in a round-table format of an interactive discussion and finalized the overall business program.
